Falcon 7X To Make Grand Entry At The Marrakech Air Show

The 4th Marrakech Air Show will see the unveiling of the prized Falcon 7X, a business jet which can soar uninterruptedly from Marrakech to Los Angeles, Beijing or Cape Town.

The large cabin, long range Falcon 7X will be unleashed by Dassault Aviation, the French aircraft maker, at the air show later this month.

This will be Dassault’s second showing at the air mart which is billed as the leading air trade show in the African continent.

“Thanks to strong development of the economy and fast growth in industries such as mining, oil and gas, agriculture and construction, we see great potential in Africa for long-term growth in business aviation,” Gilles Gautier, Vice President, Falcon Sales for Dassault Aviation, said in a statement.

“Business jets are an ideal way to get around such a vast continent, where airline connections are often limited and ground infrastructure, minimal,” Gautier continued in the same statement.

It is understood that more than 70 Falcon jets are in operation in the African region. And about 15 percent of them fly in North Africa. Reports also indicate that about 10 Falcons have been ordered and the owners will take delivery of them this year and next year. Most of these are Falcon 7X.
